Meet Our Guru

As an Assistant Professor at Alliance University, Dr Shamik Chakravarty’s areas of expertise include philosophy of fiction, metaphysics, and philosophy of language. Dr Chakravarty has a PhD in Philosophy and a double master’s degree in Linguistics and Philosophy. In the past, he has worked as a career counsellor and teacher at The Scindia School, Gwalior, teaching English, Creative Writing, and Philosophy.
